A residential building in Amargetis in the Paphos district was completely destroyed by fire on Saturday.
Despite the immediate intervention of the fire service, the fire caused extensive damage resulting in the complete destruction of the dilapidated building.
First indications suggest that the fire was caused by an electrical device which was left turned on in the building.
The exact causes of the incident remain under investigation.
