This three-day hiatus is intended to facilitate discussions between senior U.S. negotiators, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who arrived in Moscow on Saturday for talks with Ukrainian officials. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the pause is designed to allow U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys to engage in negotiations in the Ukrainian capital.
