Russia is waiting for explanations from Apple regarding the removal of VK apps and its subsidiary services, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding that decisions related to future interaction with the company will be made if no such explanations are provided. "Of course, clarification from the corporation will be required," he told a briefing. "It is necessary to deal with the corporation itself now and request clarification," Peskov noted. "If these clarifications are not provided, further conclusions will need to be drawn regarding the continuation of any interaction with this company," he concluded. VK announced earlier that Apple had removed its apps from the store without explanation. The company clarified that apps already installed would continue to function on Apple devices, though users would not receive push notifications.
