Russia's defense industryRussia develops drone interceptor flying with maximum speed of 500 km/h DOFA-Tek Technical Director Vitaly Dobrovolsky noted that the interceptor can be launched from any rooftop or the groundST. PETERSBURG, October 7. /TASS/. Russia’s company DOFA-Tek has developed the DF-1 Roscherk disposable jet-powered UAV interceptor with a range of about 250 km and a maximum speed of 500 km/h that was presented on the sidelines of the All-Russian Drone Congress 2026, a TASS correspondent reports. "The DF-1 Roscherk is a disposable jet-powered interceptor. It is capable of both kinetic interception of targets and interception using a mounted warhead." The system is unique in its speed of up to 500 km/h. In addition, the interceptor can remain airborne for up to 50 minutes and intercept unmanned aerial vehicles 250 km away from the target," the company CEO Marat Drofa said. DOFA-Tek Technical Director Vitaly Dobrovolsky noted that the interceptor can be launched from any rooftop or the ground. "Thanks to the product’s technical features, we can shift to large-scale production fairly quickly. The drone features an all-metal structure, which, unlike a composite one, speeds up production," he added. The All-Russian Drone Congress is taking place in St. Petersburg from October 7-9, 2026. The event is organized by RuDrones, a center of excellence in unmanned technologies.
