Eurasian Economic UnionRussian PM says EEC must prepare plan for implementing scientific development strategy Mikhail Mishustin identified "further strengthening of industrial cooperation" as a priorityCHOLPON-ATA /Kyrgyzstan/, August 7. /TASS/. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) should be tasked with developing a detailed plan for the implementation of the previously adopted strategy for the joint scientific and technical development of EAEU countries, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. He identified "further strengthening of industrial cooperation" as a priority and recalled that at the Innoprom event in Yekaterinburg, EAEU nations "agreed on the importance of pooling capacities, raw material bases, and workforce potential to fully unlock industrial capabilities," as well as "making more active use of the existing supranational mechanism for supporting cooperation, and establishing an exchange of advanced technologies and practices." "We can and must address such tasks within the framework of the Union’s long-term strategic program for scientific and technical development approved last year," Mishustin said. "I propose tasking the Eurasian Economic Commission with preparing a draft plan for its practical implementation," he noted. "That way, we will sooner move on to implementing the agreements reached," the premer added.
