**Seven Arrested in Overnight Police Operations Across Cyprus**
In a concerted effort to enhance public safety and prevent serious crime, the police conducted extensive operations throughout Cyprus on Saturday night, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals for various offenses. According to a statement released by the police on Sunday, the operations involved stopping a total of 783 vehicles and inspecting 1,025 individuals. The arrests included charges for illegal residency, robbery, theft, and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Traffic enforcement was particularly rigorous, with police recording a total of 273 charges during the night. In addition to traffic-related offenses, the police carried out 315 alcotests, resulting in 19 charges for driving under the influence of alcohol. Furthermore, drug testing was also part of the operations, with 82 tests administered, three of which returned positive results for illegal substances.
