According to the details under examination, the 23-year-old was at the garage yesterday afternoon, where he reportedly shouted at and threatened other people present. Police officers were called to the scene, and on their arrival, the 23-year-old got into his car. He then accelerated and struck a 43-year-old bystander, causing injuries to his legs and elbows. Police secured an arrest warrant against the 23-year-old and detained him early this morning under it. He has been held in custody to facilitate the investigation. The offences under investigation are acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm, threats, and reckless and dangerous driving. Pera Chorio Police Station continues its investigation.
