**Title: Six-Month-Old Baby Killed in Drone Strike in Moscow Region**

In a tragic incident, a six-month-old baby lost their life due to a Ukrainian drone attack in the Moscow Region, as reported by Governor Andrey Vorobyov. The attack occurred in the town of Yegoryevsk, located approximately 110 kilometers southeast of Moscow.

In a statement shared via Telegram on Tuesday, Governor Vorobyov detailed the events surrounding the drone strike, which took place at night. He noted that the drone crash led to a fire in a private residence, resulting in significant damage and trapping individuals beneath the debris. Emergency responders managed to rescue three people from the rubble, including two adults and another child, who have since been hospitalized and are receiving medical care.

Unfortunately, the infant succumbed to injuries while being transported to the hospital. Governor Vorobyov expressed his condolences to the family affected by this tragedy.

The Yegoryevsk incident is part of a broader pattern of drone strikes that have intensified in recent months. Vorobyov indicated that during the same night, air defense systems in the Moscow Region intercepted around 60 drones, primarily targeting the southern areas.

In addition to the Yegoryevsk attack, a separate drone strike caused damage to an administrative building in Dubna, situated 100 kilometers north of Moscow. Another drone hit a residential house in the village of Fateyevo, located east of the capital, but fortunately, there were no casualties reported from these incidents.

The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that air defense units successfully intercepted a total of 419 Ukrainian drones across the country during the same overnight period.

The escalation of drone attacks into Russian territory has been notable, with Ukraine increasing the frequency and range of these operations. In recent weeks, Ukrainian forces have targeted critical infrastructure and residential areas deep within Russia. Earlier this month, one of the most significant drone assaults on Moscow since the beginning of the conflict occurred, resulting in damage to an oil refinery and injuring 17 individuals, including two children.

As the conflict continues, the use of drones has emerged as a significant aspect of military strategy for both Ukraine and Russia, leading to heightened tensions and tragic incidents such as the one in Yegoryevsk. The situation remains fluid, with ongoing developments expected as both sides respond to the evolving dynamics of the conflict.
