Photographer Silvio Augusto Rusmigo is set to unveil his latest exhibition, titled “Storing Light,” at NYX Hotel Limassol. Silvio Augusto Rusmigo is a documentary and commercial photographer based in Cyprus, known for his exploration of the relationship between landscape, culture, and identity. He holds a Master’s degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London and is a Full Member of Diversify Photo, an international collective of visual storytellers. Over the past two decades, Rusmigo has developed an extensive portfolio through long-term photographic projects, collaborations with conservation organizations, and commissions from cultural institutions and commercial clients.
His work has garnered numerous international photography awards and has been exhibited and published globally. He is the author of acclaimed photographic publications, including Kochinohoma – Red Soil and Aspelia Naturalis, and has contributed to various other publications, such as the Cyprus Bouldering Guide. Recently, Rusmigo completed a documentary project in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Lanka Environment Fund and is currently working on a new publication that documents the landscapes and biodiversity of the Pafos Forest.
