**Suicide Bomber Kills 15 at Security Checkpoint in Northwest Pakistan**

In a tragic incident overnight, a suicide bomber attacked a security checkpoint in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwest Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of 15 security personnel. The military reported that the attack was executed by a bomber who was supported by armed militants.
According to a statement from the military, the attackers attempted to breach the checkpoint before detonating an explosives-laden vehicle against its perimeter wall, creating a significant explosion that caused extensive damage to the site. The military confirmed that among the deceased were twelve military personnel, two policemen, and one government official from the forest department.
