Police were informed of the incident on Thursday and are investigating the circumstances of his injuries. According to the information under investigation, the 18-year-old was found by relatives at around 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 4 August, beside his electric bicycle at the junction of Makarios and Despina Pattichi avenues in Limassol. He was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have suffered a traumatic brain injury. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains intubated in the intensive care unit. Limassol traffic police are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances in which the 18-year-old was injured.
