Increased cloud cover is expected during the afternoon and may bring isolated showers or a thunderstorm, mainly over the mountains. Winds will initially be light and variable at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. They may temporarily strengthen to 5 Beaufort along the southern coast. The sea will be slight. Temperatures will rise to 41C inland, 32C along the western coast, around 35C along the remaining coastal areas and 30C in the higher mountains. The weather will remain mostly clear overnight, although locally increased low cloud and patches of mist may form during the early morning hours. Winds will gradually become north-westerly to north-easterly and south-easterly along the northern coast, remaining light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be smooth to slight. Temperatures will fall to around 24C inland and along the coast and to 19C in the higher mountains. The weather will remain mostly clear on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, although locally increased cloud will develop at times. Temperatures will gradually rise slightly and remain above the seasonal average.
