From 8 to 12 July, the Minthis amphitheatre will once again welcome internationally acclaimed musicians for a programme that celebrates artistic excellence across classical music, opera and jazz. Presented by Pafilia and curated by LaimTee Art, the festival has become one of Cyprus’ defining cultural events, offering audiences an experience where exceptional performances and an extraordinary setting exist in perfect harmony. The festival opens on 8 July with acclaimed German composer and pianist Florian Christl, whose evocative, cinematic compositions have captivated audiences across Europe. Joined by his ensemble and award-winning violinist Niklas Liepe, the evening promises an immersive opening to this year’s programme. On 9 July, celebrated British pianist Jeneba Kanneh-Mason brings an evening devoted to Chopin. Widely recognised as one of the most compelling artists of her generation, her performances are admired for their remarkable sensitivity, depth and expressive artistry. The following evening welcomes Vision String Quartet, an ensemble redefining the boundaries of chamber music. Blending classical masterpieces with original compositions and contemporary influences, they offer a fresh and innovative perspective on the traditional string quartet while remaining rooted in exceptional musicianship. Opera takes centre stage on 11 July as internationally renowned Austrian bass-baritone Günther Groissböck performs alongside pianist Nelson Calzi. Their programme explores the richness and dramatic intensity of the operatic repertoire, showcasing one of today’s most distinguished voices. The festival concludes on 12 July with acclaimed British jazz vocalist Claire Martin and the exceptional Martin Sjöstedt Trio. Bringing warmth, elegance and effortless sophistication to the stage, the closing evening offers a fitting finale to five days of outstanding musical performances. While the calibre of the artists continues to define the festival, the experience extends far beyond the stage. Set among the rolling hills of the Paphos wine region, the Minthis amphitheatre creates an atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the island, where architecture, landscape and music come together beneath the summer sky. It is this unique sense of place that has become synonymous with Minthis Music Festival and continues to draw audiences from Cyprus and across the world. Under the artistic direction and production of LaimTee Art, and with the continued support of Pafilia Property Developers, the festival has grown into one of Cyprus’ most distinctive cultural events, bringing internationally acclaimed artists together with discerning audiences in a celebration of music, creativity and connection.
