**The One Love Cyprus Festival Brings Reggae and More to Gialia**
The One Love Cyprus Festival is set to return to Gialia in Paphos this summer, promising an extensive celebration of reggae, art, and community spirit. Scheduled to take place from July 29 to August 2, this year's festival marks its third edition and has expanded to a five-day event, offering a more immersive experience for attendees.
The festival will be hosted at Val’s Place, where it aims to create a laid-back party atmosphere that embraces the essence of reggae, dub, and sound system culture. The first two days of the festival will focus on wellbeing, featuring a Full Moon Wellbeing Camping experience. This unique segment will kick off on July 29 and 30, inviting participants to engage in activities such as yoga under the full moon, breathing sessions, drum circles, and workshops designed to foster relaxation and connection among attendees.
Following the wellbeing activities, the festival will transition into its main music program from July 31 to August 2. This segment will feature two stages showcasing a diverse lineup of live performances, DJs, and MCs, all celebrating the vibrant sounds of reggae, dub, ska, and sound system culture. The festival's international lineup includes notable acts such as Mexican Stepper from Mexico, Dubwize Band featuring Tim Heights, Selecta Kilimanjaro, and many more. A total of over 58 artists from both Cyprus and abroad are expected to perform, reflecting the festival's growing popularity and community engagement.
In addition to the musical performances, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various workshops and activities. The festival aims to be inclusive, catering not only to reggae enthusiasts but also to families and groups of friends looking for a multifaceted experience. Stand-up comedy performances and children's activities will also be part of the agenda, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
Festival-goers can purchase tickets for single days, three days, or the entire five-day experience. On-site accommodation options are available, including organized camping areas, shaded tent spaces, and facilities for campervans. This setup allows visitors to immerse themselves fully in the festival atmosphere while enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Last year, the One Love Cyprus Festival attracted over 1,200 visitors, showcasing the growing interest in reggae and sound system culture in the region. The festival has become a significant event on the summer calendar, highlighting the sense of community and connection that music can foster.
With its combination of music, art, and wellness activities, the One Love Cyprus Festival is poised to offer a memorable experience for all attendees this summer. For more information and ticket purchases, interested individuals can visit the festival's official website at www.onelovefestivalcy.com.
