MUSIC Limassol, Tsirio Stadium. Sting, one of the most important musicians of the modern era, returns to Cyprus after two decades away for a single concert. The “STING 3.0” tour marks a new creative phase for the artist, with the “3.0” title referring to the stripped-down line-up on stage: just three musicians — Sting himself on bass and vocals, longtime collaborator Dominic Miller on guitar, and Chris Maas (known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers) on drums. Doors open at 6pm, support acts perform until 8pm, and Sting’s concert begins at 8.30pm. Tickets: SoldOut Tickets. SHADOW THEATRE Trimiklini, Michalakis Konnaris Amphitheatre, 8pm. The shadow theatre performance “A Suitcase Called Cyprus,” conceived by Eleni Papachristoforou, takes audiences on a cultural journey through Cypriot memories, traditions and beauty. The performance is followed by the experiential workshop “The Figure That Remembers.” Papachristoforou is behind the concept, script, performance and facilitation of the workshop, alongside Iakovos Kousiappas (live music, musical direction, composition, sound and lighting) and Pavlos Kousiappas (assistant puppeteer, puppet construction and technical support).
