According to information under examination, the attack happened around 4am as the 23-year-old was walking along a street in Ayia Napa, when two people unknown to him attacked him. According to the complaint, the two attackers managed to restrain the 23-year-old before stealing his bag and €430 in cash. The attackers then fled the scene. The 23-year-old went to Famagusta General Hospital, where he received first aid treatment and was discharged. CID Famagusta continues to investigate.
