**Tziortzis Eyes Championship Title After Strong Performance in NASCAR European Championship Semi-Finals**
Vladimiros Tziortzis, the Cypriot driver, is firmly in contention for the title in the Open category of the NASCAR Euro Series following a commendable performance at the semi-finals held over the weekend at the Vallelunga circuit in Rome. This event marked Tziortzis's second podium finish of the season, as he secured third place in the first OPEN race.
Tziortzis’s recent achievement adds to his earlier success, where he also finished third at the Paul Ricard circuit in France in May. His consistent performances have positioned him strongly in the standings, with the driver currently sitting in fifth place overall in the OPEN category out of 30 competitors. He is just 11 points shy of the third-place driver, making the upcoming finals even more critical.
In addition to his performance in the OPEN category, Tziortzis also competed in the V8GP class at Vallelunga, where he finished 10th and 12th in the respective races. His efforts in both categories have kept him within the top ten in the V8GP standings, currently holding 9th place out of 34 drivers.

The finals for the 2026 season are set to take place at the Circuit Zolder in Belgium on the weekend of October 17-18, where Tziortzis will aim to capitalize on the momentum gained from his recent performances. With points counting double in both the semi-finals and finals, the stakes are high for all competitors.
