Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said 56 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight. He published photos of two residential buildings where fires broke out, saying they were located in the towns of Pavlovsky Posad and Kubinka. Independent reports said the Kubinka apartment building is located 5 kilometers (around 3 miles) from the Russian military’s Kubinka Air Base. Vorobyov said a drone crashed onto the grounds of an unidentified industrial plant in the village of Bolshoye Bunkovo, located north of Pavlovsky Posad. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defenses had destroyed more than 100 drones flying toward the capital since Wednesday evening. Elsewhere, in the Belgorod region, authorities said one civilian was killed in Ukrainian attacks over the past 24 hours. They said later on Thursday that an attack on a bus killed a passenger. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it intercepted 416 Ukrainian drones across Russia and annexed Crimea between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
