Nov. 4, 2026 Social media An overnight Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at a distribution center belonging to the e-commerce giant Ozon in the North Caucasus republic of Adygea, regional officials and the company said Wednesday. In a statement, Ozon said it “promptly evacuated all workers” from the facility in the town of Adygeysk, adding that no one was hurt. “A fire broke out, and emergency services are working on site.” A video circulating on social media purportedly showed the burning distribution center with its roof partially collapsed. Opened in late 2023, the distribution center employs more than 1,500 people and serves as one of Ozon’s main logistics hubs for southern Russia. Ozon said it removed damaged goods from its online listings, canceled pending deliveries from the distribution center and rerouted incoming shipments to other warehouses across the region. The latest attack adds to the already dozens of similar strikes on warehouses owned by Ozon and its top rival Wildberries since the summer. Marat Kumpilov, who serves as regional jead of Adygea, also confirmed the Ozon attack on Wednesday. He said that falling drone debris also damaged a residential gas pipeline in another village, though no injuries were reported. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it intercepted 709 Ukrainian drones across Russia and annexed Crimea between Tuesday night and Friday morning.
