**UN’s Diagne ‘saddened’, offers condolences over Kyrenia ferry accident**

Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhurman provided an update on the situation at around 4:30 PM, confirming that seven people had been found dead, while 237 individuals had been successfully rescued and brought ashore. Efforts are still underway to locate the remaining 23 individuals who are unaccounted for.
