A yellow warning is in force from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for isolated strong thunderstorms in the mountains, parts of the southeast and inland areas. Hail is expected during thunderstorms. Weak low pressure and an unstable air mass are affecting the region, according to the weather forecast. Early today, locally increased low cloud is expected, particularly in the west, along with patches of light fog, which will soon clear. The weather will gradually become mainly fine in most areas, with temporarily increased cloud. From midday onwards, developing cloud is expected to bring local rain and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, parts of the southeast and inland areas. Hail is expected during thunderstorms. Winds will blow mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, force 3 to 4 Beaufort. In the afternoon, winds along the coast will become moderate to strong and locally strong, force 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will generally be slight. Temperatures will rise to around 33 °C inland, 27 °C on the west coast, around 30 °C on the remaining coasts and 24 °C in the higher mountains. Tonight, the weather will become mainly fine, although temporarily increased low cloud will gradually appear, particularly along the coast. Later and during the early morning hours, light fog or fog is expected to form locally, mainly inland and in the east. Winds will initially continue to blow mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light and temporarily moderate, force 3 to 4 Beaufort. Later, they will become downslope and locally variable, light, force 3 Beaufort. The sea in the south and east will become calm to slight, while in the west and north it will remain slight. Temperatures will fall to around 20 °C inland and along the coast, and around 14 °C in the higher mountains. On Monday, the weather will initially be mainly fine, with temporarily increased low cloud along the coast. From midday onwards, developing cloud is expected to bring local rain and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Hail is possible during thunderstorms. On Tuesday, the weather will be mainly fine in most areas, although developing cloud over the mountains after midday could bring isolated rain. On Wednesday, the weather will be mainly fine, despite locally increased cloud at intervals. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly on Monday and will remain close to seasonal levels. By Wednesday, however, they are expected to rise gradually and move above average climatological values for the season.
