A Cycling Police officer signalled the driver to stop for a check at around 10:40am on Athinon Street. The driver continued on, with the officer following and calling for backup from other patrols. Police patrols intercepted the driver near the Ypsonas Industrial Area. Along the route, the driver appears to have collided with two parked vehicles. The driver was arrested for offences committed in the act. A second person, who was in the car as a passenger, is being questioned.
