The case under investigation concerns an alleged offence committed in January 2024 in the Paphos district, with the total amount reportedly obtained standing at €9,800. According to a complaint made to police, the 67-year-old allegedly presented himself as the owner of a company and agreed with the complainant to install solar panels. He reportedly took the agreed payment but never went on to complete the work. The investigation also found that no company was registered under the name the 67-year-old allegedly gave.
