A vehicle dropped eight metres off a cliff and into a riverbed when the driver swerved off the road at 9.04pm on Sunday on the Gourris-Kalo Chorio road in the Nicosia district.
The fire brigade was called in to rescue the driver, who was then taken by ambulance to the Nicosia general hospital.
The police said the woman was conscious when she was rescued.
