The warning will be in force from 1 pm until 4 pm today. Seasonal low pressure is affecting the region, with mainly clear conditions forecast during the day. Low cloud and patches of mist or fog are expected initially inland and in southern and eastern areas. Clouds developing during the afternoon could also bring isolated rain in the mountains. Winds will blow mainly from the southwest to northwest, initially light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort before strengthening to moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight, becoming locally moderate during the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to 40C inland, around 33C on the western and northern coasts, around 36C elsewhere along the coast and 30C in the higher mountains. Tonight will be mainly clear, although low cloud will increase at times in western areas. Patches of mist or fog could form towards dawn, mainly in the southeast and inland. Winds will gradually become light downslope winds at around 3 Beaufort, while the sea will remain slight. Temperatures will fall to around 24C inland and along the coast and 20C in the higher mountains. Mainly clear weather is forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, although temporary increased cloud is expected during the afternoon, particularly over the mountains. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through Tuesday and will remain slightly above seasonal averages.
