**Corporate Cyprus Padel League Expands to 40 Teams for 2026 Season**

The Corporate Cyprus Padel League is set to return for its second season, boasting a record number of participants and a new partnership with the Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy. The league organizers announced that this year, 40 teams comprising 140 players from various companies and organizations in Nicosia and Limassol have registered for the 2026 competition. This marks a significant increase from the inaugural season, which featured 27 teams and 104 players.

As registrations have now closed, a waiting list has been established due to heightened interest from additional companies wishing to join the league. The league aims to foster connections within Cyprus' business community through the medium of sport, blending competition with opportunities for networking and teamwork.

The partnership with the Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy is a notable highlight for this year's league. Matches in Limassol will be hosted at the academy's facilities at the City of Dreams Mediterranean, aligning with the presence of one of Cyprus' most celebrated tennis figures. Marcos Baghdatis, who achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 8, will lend his expertise and reputation to the competition.

In Nicosia, matches will continue to take place at La Casa De Padel, the venue that hosted the league's first edition. The 2026 season will feature both Beginner and Intermediate categories, allowing teams to compete according to their skill levels. Matches are scheduled to occur every Wednesday and Friday from September 30 to November 30, culminating in playoffs where the top two teams from each category in both Nicosia and Limassol will qualify for the finals.

In a unique scoring system designed to maintain competitive balance, teams will earn one point for every set won. This means that even if a team loses a match with a score of 2–1, they will still accumulate one point, keeping the competition engaging throughout the tournament.

Participants in the league will benefit from a variety of perks, including a one-year subscription to Foody Pro, a 15% discount on their next flight with Cyprus Airways, and a personalized Corporate League padel shirt. Additionally, players will have access to premium rackets provided by PadelPoint CY, with all necessary equipment, such as rackets and balls, supplied during the matches.

The league's winners and finalists will compete for cash prizes of up to €500 in each category, along with complimentary flight tickets from Cyprus Airways and trophies valued at up to €500.

Sponsorship for the league includes strategic support from Foody, which serves as the gold sponsor, alongside Petrolina as another gold sponsor and Cyprus Airways as a silver sponsor. The Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy and La Casa De Padel are host sponsors, while Avaton Communications, PadelPoint CY, RPS, Asado Gaucho Cyprus, and Giannis Andreou Photography & Films contribute as supporting sponsors.

For those interested in following the tournament's progress, updates will be available on Instagram at @CorporateCyPadel. As the league prepares for its kickoff, excitement builds within the business community, highlighting the growing popularity of padel and its role in enhancing professional relationships through sport.
