The agreement took effect on July 7, 2026, according to the companies, with both Air France and Cyprus Airways flight codes now appearing on flights operated by Cyprus Airways. Through the agreement, Air France and Cyprus Airways aim to offer connectivity to Air France’s extensive network via connections to and from Paris airport throughout the year, the companies said. Thanos Paschalis, Chief Executive Officer of Cyprus Airways, said: “Our cooperation with Air France marks a significant step forward for Cyprus Airways and confirms the growing confidence in our network and our services. This agreement strengthens Cyprus’s connectivity with one of Europe’s largest aviation hubs, giving our passengers seamless access to destinations around the world, while also making Cyprus even more accessible to international visitors.” Noud Duyzings, Senior Vice President for the Netherlands and International Markets at Air France-KLM, said the new agreement with Cyprus Airways “further strengthens connectivity between France and Cyprus,” adding that through the partnership, “our customers will benefit from an expanded flight programme between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Larnaca, with up to six flights a week during the summer period, as well as seamless connections through our Paris hub to Air France’s extensive network.” “This cooperation reflects our commitment to offering our customers more choice, greater flexibility and high-quality service, while also strengthening our presence in the Cypriot market and from it, through the connection options offered by our hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport,” he added. Beyond the codeshare agreement, Cyprus Airways and Air France have also entered into an interline agreement covering Cyprus Airways flights between Larnaca (LCA) and Milan Malpensa (MXP), and between Larnaca (LCA) and Athens (ATH), as well as Air France flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Milan Malpensa (MXP), and between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Athens (ATH).
