Cyprus-based technology company Powersoft365 is set to make a significant return to Indonesia this month, bringing with it eight operational AI agents tailored for the apparel, fashion, and retail sectors. The company will present its innovative technology at the Indonesia Retail Summit & Expo 2026, scheduled for August 26 and 27 in Jakarta. This event marks a pivotal step in Powersoft365's strategy to expand its presence in Asian markets.

The company's return to Indonesia follows a recent business mission that included ten other Cypriot companies and organizations, led by Cyprus’ Chief Scientist Demetris Skourides. During this mission, Powersoft365 engaged with local businesses to understand the regional market dynamics and explore potential collaborations. CEO and founder George Malekkos noted the importance of this previous visit, stating, “A few weeks ago we went to Jakarta to listen, learn, and understand the market.”

This time, however, Powersoft365 is equipped with a suite of ready-to-use AI agents. Malekkos expressed enthusiasm about returning with operational technology, saying, “Now we are back with not one, but eight AI Agents and with real, operational technology that we can present live.” At the expo, attendees will find Powersoft365 at booths i6 and i7, where retailers, fashion groups, distributors, and technology partners can witness the AI Retail Operating Platform in action.

The showcased technology integrates specialized AI agents designed to enhance existing enterprise resource planning, point-of-sale, warehouse, and e-commerce systems. These agents are capable of analyzing business data, forecasting demand, recommending actions, automating processes, and supporting retailers in their daily decision-making.

Among the innovative solutions being presented is the AI Automatic Stock Replenishment (ASR) system, which evaluates sales and inventory levels to recommend or automate product transfers between stores. Another notable feature is the AI Data Analyst, which enables managers to interact with their business data using natural language, providing immediate insights and analysis. Additionally, the AI Forecasting Agent predicts demand, aiding in purchasing and stock planning.

For in-store operations, the AI POS Selling Assistant offers sales staff intelligent recommendations and identifies opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. Powersoft365 will also demonstrate an AI Social Media Manager that generates content and campaigns based on a retailer's products and real-world business data. Another highlight is the AI Virtual Try-On service, allowing consumers to digitally try on garments before making a purchase.

Completing the lineup of AI agents are ApparelBridge, which consolidates product information from various suppliers, and an AI Stylist that personalizes shopping experiences by understanding customer preferences and styles.

Powersoft365 brings over three decades of experience in retail technology, particularly in the clothing, footwear, and fashion industries. The company has developed solutions tailored for shops, chains, franchises, and wholesale businesses. Its ModaPro platform, designed specifically for the fashion sector, addresses unique needs such as size and color matrices, multi-store inventory, and real-time stock management. This extensive experience is now facilitating the company's transition from traditional business software to an agentic model where AI plays a more proactive role.

Malekkos emphasized the evolving role of AI in retail, stating, “The next stage of AI in retail is not yet a chatbot. It is AI that understands your business, your products, your inventory, your customers, and your sales, and then helps you take action.”

The upcoming Jakarta appearance is a key component of Powersoft365’s broader international expansion strategy. The company aims to position its platform as an API-first ecosystem, allowing retailers to seamlessly integrate AI agents with their existing systems without overhauling their entire technology infrastructure. Malekkos highlighted the importance of showcasing Cyprus-developed technology in the international arena, asserting, “For us, it is particularly important to prove that technology designed and developed in Cyprus can stand and compete in international markets.”

Visitors to the Indonesia Retail Summit & Expo will have the opportunity to see the AI technologies in live operation and engage with the Powersoft365 team to discuss potential partnerships, integrations, and business opportunities. As the company looks to expand beyond Cyprus, it encourages retailers in Jakarta to embrace AI as a tool for empowerment rather than a replacement, urging them to “learn to command the machine in retail.”
