According to police, the collision happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Nikis Avenue. The circumstances are under investigation. The impact left the 19-year-old’s car lodged against a parked vehicle, causing material damage. The 79-year-old is being treated in the intensive care unit at Nicosia General Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance following the collision. He remains intubated. Nicosia Traffic Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
