**Ellinas Finance Posts 2025 Dividend to Shareholders**
*Cyprus Mail* - Ellinas Finance Public Company Ltd has announced the distribution of dividend payments to its eligible shareholders following the company's financial results for the year 2025. The company confirmed that the dividend entitlements were dispatched on the same day, with payments reaching shareholders who held shares at the close of trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) on July 3, 2026.
The dividend, set at 1.75 cents per share, represents 3.9% of the nominal share value of €0.45. This decision was approved by shareholders during the annual general meeting held in June 2026. At that meeting, it was established that shares would trade with the right to the dividend until July 3, 2026, with July 6, 2026, designated as the ex-dividend date.
Eligible shareholders include those recorded in the company's register by July 7, 2026, as well as individuals who hold securities through over-the-counter transfers completed by that date. The company has made arrangements for the payments to be issued in euros, with cheques scheduled to be mailed by July 28, 2026.
During the annual general meeting, shareholders were presented with the directors' report and the annual financial report for 2025, which outlined the company’s performance over the fiscal year. The meeting also saw several board members resign and subsequently re-elected in accordance with the company's articles of association. Nearchos Petrides and Philippos Papadopoulos stepped down but were reappointed, while Constantinos Servos and Evi Rossidou Antoniadou also left the board and were re-elected.
In terms of director remuneration, the assembly decided to keep the compensation for each non-executive director at €4,200 for the year 2026. Additionally, one non-executive director with enhanced responsibilities will receive an annual remuneration of €30,000. Shareholders approved a revised remuneration policy that encompasses both board members and company directors.
The annual remuneration report for 2025, which addressed both board and management pay, was presented to the shareholders, explained in detail, and put to an advisory vote. The meeting concluded with the reappointment of Baker Tilly Klitou and Partners Ltd as the company's auditors, granting the board the authority to determine their fees for 2026.
This dividend distribution reflects Ellinas Finance's commitment to returning value to its shareholders while maintaining a focus on corporate governance and transparency in its operations. As the company continues to navigate the financial landscape, it remains dedicated to ensuring that its shareholders are informed and engaged in the decision-making processes that affect their investments.
