**ERB Cyprialife Hosts Annual Sales Force Training Day with Focus on Excellence**
On September 11, ERB Cyprialife held its second annual Sales Force Training Day at the Lefkara multipurpose conference centre, gathering over 420 insurance advisers and administrative staff. The event was centered around the theme "Believe – Dare – Succeed," reflecting the company's commitment to continuous training and fostering a culture of excellence.
The day commenced with remarks from Takis Phidia, the chief executive officer of ERB Cyprus Insurance Holdings. He praised the Sales Network for its strong production performance and highlighted the importance of insurance as a proactive measure for foresight, responsibility, and protection, particularly in uncertain times. Phidia emphasized the advantages of being part of the Eurobank Group, stating, “As members of the EUROBANK Group, the country’s leading financial organisation, we have a great opportunity ahead of us. To harness the strength of our powerful Group and turn it into value for the customer, prospects for the network, and progress and growth for our companies.”
Michalis Louis, chief executive of Eurobank Ltd, also addressed the attendees, underscoring the development of the group’s insurance business as a strategic priority. He pointed out the potential benefits of enhanced cooperation between banking and insurance sectors, which could lead to improved services for customers and overall growth for the Group.
General Manager Andreani Callimachou took the stage to express gratitude to the Sales Network and administrative staff. She noted that ERB Cyprialife has achieved the top position in the production of new recurring life insurance premiums for 12 consecutive years. Callimachou shared insights into the company’s performance metrics and business strategy while discussing the challenges that lie ahead and the strategies to overcome them. She also outlined the company's ambitious growth target for the end of the year.
Sales Director Giorgos Gogou addressed the role and responsibilities of insurance advisers, presenting key productivity indicators. He expressed appreciation for the creative cooperation and dedication of the advisers, emphasizing their vital role in the company's success.
A notable highlight of the event was the presence of Maria Markou, an educator and one of Cyprus’ two international Paralympic athletes in powerlifting. Markou, who won a silver medal at the 2021 World Cup in Tbilisi and competed in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, shared her experiences during an interview conducted by Olympic weightlifting champion Pyrros Dimas. Their conversation revolved around themes of determination, belief in one’s goals, resolve, and strength of character, resonating with the event's overarching message.
