**Fire Damages Home Parking Area in Paphos District**
A fire broke out in the village of Nikoklia in the Paphos district on Thursday night, causing significant material damage to the enclosed parking area of a residence. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
The Paphos Fire Service received the emergency call at 10:26 PM. Fire crews from both the Paphos and Kelokedara rural fire stations promptly responded to the alarm, arriving with two fire engines to tackle the blaze. The fire primarily affected a small kitchen situated within the parking area, leading to damage of kitchen equipment as well as the paintwork and electric garage doors. Despite the extent of the damage, a vehicle parked inside the garage was not believed to have suffered any harm.
