**Title: Four Arrested as Police Report 351 Traffic Offences Across Cyprus**
In a series of overnight crime-stopping operations, police across Cyprus arrested four individuals linked to various offences, including drug possession and traffic violations. The operations took place on Wednesday night and were aimed at enhancing public safety and enforcing the law.
According to a police statement released on Thursday, officers conducted checks on 570 vehicles and inspected 760 individuals during the operations. In addition to the arrests, law enforcement carried out 49 inspections of various premises, which resulted in seven citations for minor offences.
The police also focused on traffic-related issues, investigating a total of 13 cases. As a result of these investigations, 14 vehicles were impounded. The operations yielded a significant number of traffic offences, with a total of 351 violations recorded. Among these, 75 were related to speeding, highlighting ongoing concerns about road safety.
In addition to speeding violations, police cited two drivers for drink-driving offences. Furthermore, three individuals tested positive in preliminary drug tests, indicating a potential issue with substance use among drivers.
