**Fourth Suspect Arrested in Connection with Paphos Delivery Driver Attacks**

Paphos, Cyprus – An 18-year-old male was apprehended by police on Tuesday afternoon as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent group attack on delivery drivers that occurred in Paphos last week. The arrest took place around 2:30 PM, and the teenager is currently facing serious charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, robbery, and assault causing actual bodily harm.

This latest arrest adds to the three previous suspects already in custody, all of whom are believed to have participated in the attacks on five delivery drivers in the Moutallos area on the night of August 18. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident, which has raised concerns about safety for delivery personnel in the region.

According to police reports, the incident began when a 26-year-old delivery driver arrived in Moutallos to fulfill an order. Upon arrival, he was confronted by an unknown individual, allegedly accompanied by three others, who refused to pay for the delivery and subsequently assaulted him by throwing a stone.

In response to the attack, the driver contacted his colleagues for assistance. As they arrived at the scene, a group of approximately ten men, some reportedly armed with metal objects, descended upon the delivery drivers. The group allegedly assaulted the drivers, knocking them to the ground and damaging their motorcycles in the process.

The situation escalated further when four members of the assailant group fled the scene in a vehicle, only to encounter another delivery driver, a 22-year-old who had just completed an order. Three of the men exited the vehicle and attacked this driver, robbing him of cash and his mobile phone before making their escape.

As a result of these violent encounters, five delivery drivers sustained injuries and were subsequently transported to Paphos General Hospital, where they received medical treatment for their various injuries.

The Paphos police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the series of attacks, focusing on multiple offenses including conspiracy to commit a felony, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanour, rioting, robbery, assault causing actual bodily harm, illegal possession and transportation of an offensive weapon, common assault, and malicious damage.

Authorities have not disclosed the identities of the suspects, and the investigation remains active as police work to gather more evidence and potentially identify additional individuals involved in the attacks.

The alarming nature of these incidents has sparked discussions about the safety of delivery workers in Paphos, highlighting the need for increased security measures and community awareness to prevent such violent acts in the future.

As investigations continue, police are urging anyone with information related to the attacks to come forward to assist in bringing all responsible parties to justice.
