The event opens with a ceremony on Friday, 2 October, followed by the main convention days on 3 and 4 October, at the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia, according to the announcement. Russell has built a screen career spanning more than four decades, organisers said. In Game of Thrones, he played the veteran warrior and commander of House Tully. In the second season of One Piece, he plays Crocus, the former doctor and lighthouse keeper at Twin Cape who cares for the Island Whale Laboon.
