Separately, Stroumbi Police Station is investigating a case against two men over the illegal possession and transport of a hunting weapon. The two men, aged 39 and 42, were spotted by Game and Fauna Service officers hunting in an area where hunting is not permitted and were issued on-the-spot fines for pursuing game and carrying a hunting weapon in a prohibited hunting area. Checks will continue throughout the hunting season, aimed at protecting public safety, preventing violations and ensuring compliance with the law.
