Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon over the weekend have resulted in the deaths of numerous civilians, with reports indicating at least 27 fatalities and 69 injuries, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. The strikes occurred between Friday evening and early Monday morning, marking a significant escalation in violence despite a US-mediated ceasefire that has been in place since late June.
