**Limassol Port Operator Highlights Economic Benefits of Cruise Industry**
Limassol, Cyprus – On Friday, Transport Minister Evanthia Tsolaki made her inaugural visit to the DP World Limassol terminal at Limassol Port, where she engaged with representatives from DP World Limassol and P&O Maritime to discuss the port's operations. This visit marks a significant moment for Tsolaki, who recently took over the Transport, Communications, and Works portfolio.
During the visit, DP World Limassol's CEO, Simon Pitout, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to showcase the terminal's operations and future plans. “We were delighted to welcome the minister to Limassol Port and to have the opportunity to present the breadth of our operations and our plans for the future,” Pitout stated. The minister's visit also included a tour aboard a P&O Maritime tugboat, where she received insights into the marine operations that ensure the safe and efficient movement of vessels within the port.
