Isolated rain and an isolated thunderstorm are expected to develop over mountainous areas, and possibly inland, after midday. Winds will be variable and weak on Friday morning, at 3 Beaufort, gradually turning south-westerly to north-westerly, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort on exposed coasts during the afternoon. The sea will be generally smooth to slight in the morning, becoming slightly rough locally on exposed coasts in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach around 39 degrees inland, around 32 on the western and south-western coasts, around 34 on the remaining coasts, and around 30 degrees over the higher mountains. Weather will turn mostly cloudy on Saturday, with rain and local thunderstorms expected. The storms may bring hail and gusty winds, with conditions locally intense or prolonged in places. Sunday will start mostly clear, but cloud will gradually increase locally, bringing isolated rain or a thunderstorm after midday, mainly over the mountains and areas south of Troodos. On Monday, cloud will build intermittently, with isolated rain possible over the mountains after midday. Temperatures will drop noticeably on Saturday, falling below seasonal norms. They will rise slightly on Sunday, remaining at similar levels on Monday, but will continue to run below the seasonal average.
