The rallies will be held under the slogan “guided by memory, with freedom as our compass”. Riders will gather at the following locations: Nicosia: West Stand, GSP Stadium – 6 pm Limassol: Agios Athanasios Industrial Area car park – 6 pm Larnaca: Rizoelia roundabout, near the Avdellero exit – 6.30 pm Famagusta: Ayia Napa roundabout – 7 pm Paphos: Pafiako Stadium car park – 5 pm A major memorial event is scheduled for 8 pm at the Isaak-Solomou monument in Paralimni on Nikou Psara Street. This year’s event is being organised jointly by Paralimni-Deryneia Municipality and the Isaak-Solomou Memory Initiative and will be broadcast live on RIK2. The initiative said it aims to convey the messages received by motorcyclists during a major journey through Greece in July and, above all, to repeat its call for justice and for the execution of arrest warrants against those wanted over the killings of Isaak and Solomou. It also seeks to underline that the campaign to preserve their memory is linked to the struggle to return to the occupied areas, with Kyrenia identified as the destination of every march. Following Saturday evening’s event, the motorcyclists will spend the night at the Deryneia checkpoint before attending the 30th annual memorial service on Sunday, 9 August. The service will be held at the Church of Agios Dimitrios in Paralimni.
