**Paphos Chamber of Commerce Leads EU Project on AI, Blockchain, and Web3 Skills**
The Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Evep) has embarked on an ambitious two-year project under the Erasmus+ program, aimed at enhancing youth education in blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and Web3 technologies. The initiative, titled “Enhancing Youth Education in Blockchain, AI and Web3 through International Exchange,” commenced with its inaugural meeting held in Pescara, Italy.
The primary objective of this project is to equip young individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate and thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital technologies. By fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange, the project seeks to develop new training activities that will empower youth in these critical areas.
Representing Evep at the opening meeting are Stefanos Hadjiioannou, the chamber's European programmes and educational training officer, and Paris Paraskevas, an associate and expert in the field. Their participation underscores the chamber's commitment to leveraging European initiatives to promote innovation and emerging technologies.
In conjunction with the partners' meeting, a two-day conference focused on blockchain technology is taking place in Pescara. This event provides a platform for participants to share insights, experiences, and best practices related to the integration of emerging digital technologies into educational frameworks and youth skill development.
The project is a collaborative effort that brings together organizations from multiple European countries, including Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and Belgium. This diverse partnership aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation and establish a European network dedicated to knowledge sharing and innovation.
As the lead partner, Evep is poised to play a pivotal role in driving the project's goals forward.
