The closure affects the lane heading from Konia towards Paphos, between its junction with Achepans Street and its junction with Thassou Street in Konia. Traffic will only be able to flow continuously in the direction from Konia towards Paphos during the works. The works will begin at 8am on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and are expected to finish on September 18, 2026. The municipality said a traffic management plan has been drawn up to minimise disruption to the road network and avoid inconvenience to the public, with traffic arrangements to be adjusted as the works progress. It asked drivers to use side roads to avoid congestion and delays. The municipality said it is making every effort to keep disruption from this significant project to a minimum, and asked for the public’s cooperation and understanding.
