**Police Make 20 Arrests in Nationwide Overnight Operations**
In a coordinated effort to enhance public safety, police across Cyprus conducted extensive overnight operations resulting in 20 arrests. The operations, which took place nationwide, targeted various offenses, including illegal residence, possession of a knife, illegal drug possession, and burglary.
During the operations, law enforcement officers conducted thorough checks on 598 drivers and 204 passengers. Additionally, 28 premises were inspected as part of the initiative aimed at reducing crime and ensuring compliance with local laws.

Furthermore, one driver was apprehended for driving under the influence of drugs following a drug test.
As a result of these operations, 29 vehicles were impounded, highlighting the police's commitment to enforcing traffic regulations and maintaining order on the roads.
