The woman, named in initial reports as the officer’s wife, was taken to hospital where doctors found vital signs and intubated her. She remains in extremely critical condition, according to initial information. CID Limassol said it was at the scene and investigating the incident, and that the Limassol Police Director would make statements at the scene later in the day. The scene has been cordoned off and examinations are under way, police said. According to initial reports, the officer allegedly drew his service pistol and shot his wife before turning the weapon on himself.
