Police received information shortly before about a possible sinking of a boat located in the bay between Ayioi Anargyroi and Konnos. Police officers went to the scene and helped the boat’s operator safely reach the shore. Due to the rough conditions at sea, the vessel hit rocks and sank. Two other boats remain anchored in the area, and a helicopter from the Police Air Operations Unit is carrying out efforts to rescue the people on board.
