On Wednesday, the weather will remain mainly clear, though local cloud cover is expected to develop in the afternoon. Winds will blow mainly from the southwest to northwest at light to moderate strength, 3 to 4 Beaufort, strengthening in exposed coastal areas to strong winds of up to 5 Beaufort. Seas will be slight to locally moderate. Temperatures will rise to 37 °C inland, around 29 °C on the west coast, about 32 °C on other coastal areas and 26 °C in higher mountainous regions. On Wednesday night, conditions will remain mainly clear. Winds will continue from the southwest to northwest at light to moderate levels, while seas will remain slight to locally moderate. Temperatures will fall to around 18 °C inland, about 20 °C on the coasts and 15 °C in higher mountainous areas. On Thursday, the weather will remain mainly clear with local afternoon cloud development. On Friday and Saturday, increasing afternoon cloud is expected to produce isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly over mountainous areas and inland regions. Temperatures are expected to gradually decline through Saturday, settling close to seasonal average values.
