Streams and Telegram channels replace radio in ideological war — Justice Ministry Deputy Justice Minister Oleg Sviridenko noted that a large-scale information campaign is being waged against Russian societyST. PETERSBURG, June 25. /TASS/. Telegram channels, streams, and music videos have become tools of ideological warfare that have replaced printing presses and radio stations, Deputy Justice Minister Oleg Sviridenko said at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF). "A large-scale information campaign is being waged against Russian society, the destructive impact of which we see everywhere: be it culture, education, sports, and, of course, historical memory. In this ideological war, ways and tools are changing. Earlier it was printing presses and radio stations, today it has been replaced by Telegram channels, streams, clips," he said at the session "Sovereign Code: A Single Multimedia Historical Resource." According to Sviridenko, all these are just new forms for the mind transformation of Russians. The XIV St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is taking place from 24 to 26 June. The event is organized by the Justice Ministry and the Roscongress Foundation. TASS is the general information partner of the SPIEF.
