According to police, the three were riding scooters when a person in a passing vehicle struck the lead rider on the head with a baton. A collision followed, as the two scooters behind him crashed into him and overturned, police said. All three injured riders were taken to hospital, where they received first aid and were later discharged, as they did not suffer serious injuries. The three told investigators they have no disputes with anyone and did not manage to note down the vehicle’s registration number. Authorities are carrying out investigations in the area to locate possible witnesses and CCTV footage, with the aim of identifying those responsible.
