According to the Fire Service, the call came in around 7:50 am and concerned a two-vehicle crash. The Famagusta “Sergeant Adamos Adamou” fire station and the Xylophagou rural fire station responded, sending a vehicle and rescue team along with a second fire engine. The two people were freed using rescue equipment and handed over to an Ambulance Service crew, who took them to the A&E department of Famagusta General Hospital.
