Images and video released by the Russian media showed massive fires raging at the Moscow Oil Refinery, located about 15 kilometers from the Kremlin. Thick black clouds of smoke rose over the city. Ukraine carried out one of its biggest drone attacks since the start of the war, targeting a major oil refinery in Moscow and disrupting air traffic around the Russian capital, according to Russian officials. ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT Moscow said its air defences intercepted hundreds of drones overnight, with nearly 200 approaching the city. Several drones reportedly struck the Moscow Oil Refinery, while flights at four airports were temporarily suspended. The attack came shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron on continued support for Ukraine.
